Meet the Standard

At the end of February Scottish Government, the Scottish Futures Trust and Zero Waste Scotland invited stakeholders to an event to explore the adoption and delivery of the Scottish Government’s Net Zero Public Sector Buildings Standard. The event was chaired by Stephen Boyle of Zero Waste Scotland, with a keynote by Janice Pauwels of the Scottish Government.

The morning provided an introduction to the Standard and the links to Scottish Government funding and policy. The afternoon session focused on hearing from those working to deliver the Net Zero Standard. It provided an opportunity to build a greater understanding of how to approach and deliver each of the six objectives in the Standard, as well as provide an opportunity for delegates to feedback on what kind of support would be most helpful when starting on your Net Zero asset journey/
